He’s diving again in the 2012 London Olympics. I can’t wait! Out of the eight diving medals, seven of the golds were taken by the Chinese. Matthew Mitcham (above), the only openly gay male in the 2008 Beijing Olympics, from Australia took the gold in the final diving event. He did Australia proud, but as a gay man, he did our community proud, too. Here’s hoping he can win the gold this year, too!
